Kiwanis Hometown Holiday Celebration Fun Run

Saturday, December 5th, 2009 – 2:00 PM

Proceeds to benefit Kiwanis Sponsored Youth Charities

TIME: 5K Run and 1 Mile Run/Walk both begin at 2:00 PM

LOCATION: Race starts and ends near the corner of 8th and Forrests Streets in Tifton, Georgia, right across the railroad tracks from the visitors’ side of Brodie Field at 8th Street Middle School. 1 mile east of 1-75, Exit 63B

ENTRY FEE: Pre-registration for the 5K and 1 Mile race is $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children (18 y and under) if received before Nov. 21st. Late registration (after Nov. 21st) and registration on the day of the race is $15.00 for adults and $10.00 for children (18 y and under).

AWARDS: For 5K Race: $100 cash prize to top male and female finisher overall. Top male and female masters (over 40) finisher and top 2 male and female finishers in age groups: under 13y, 13-20, 31.4-, 41-50, 51-60, and 60 and over will get to go to the Christmas tree to select a gift/prize donated by local businesses. For the 1 Mile event all participants will be eligible for door prizes via a drawing. All children completing either the 5K or 1 Mile events will receive a medallion.

AMENTIES: All pre-registered participants will be guaranteed an official 2009 Hometown Holiday Run t-shirt.
